D.G.I.F. magazine issue 9.4 is a newsletter type issue, B/W, 8 pages. The front
cover shows a large picture (shown on left) of Deborah laying on a couch with
(her?) two dogs.

The second page is devoted to The Valentine's Day cookies Deborah baked for her fans. Deborah poses with a tray of cookies, as well as with the filled cookie cans (shown on right). Two fan letters are added thanking Deborah for her baking efforts.
Page three is a fan spotlight by Misty Hopkins. Misty went to see Beauty and
the Beast in New York with her husband.
Pages four, five, six, and seven are filled with "Deb's Diary", covering
December 1-3 and 5-7, 1997. It has lots of text plus lots of small pictures. On
Monday the 1st, Deborah has an interview with Z-100 about her Thanksgiving Day
Parade hat (with picture), and leaves for Japan. On Tuesday the 2nd, she does
more interviews. A picture is shown (also here on the left) of her and 'the
cute DJ' of FM Fuji. On Wednesday the 3rd, Deborah notes she has some more song
ideas, and will likely stay up late as a result.
On Friday the 5th, Deborah writes that she has spent more time interviewing.
She also went to see the Japanese production of Beauty and the Beast. Pictures
shown are of a 'Debbie Gibson Welcome Party', her driver Ashi, and an ensemble
picture of the Japanese Beauty and the Beast. Shown on the left is a picture of
Deborah meeting the Japanese Belle.

On Saturday the 6th, Deborah went to do two in-store performance, more interviews, and a visit to the local Hard Rock Cafe. Pictures shown are a meeting with fans and Deborah posing with Ashi at the Hard Rock Cafe.
On Sunday the 7th, Deborah did more interviews, another in-store performance, and flew back to New York. During this promotional trip to Japan, she wrote twelve new songs! Pictures shown are Deborah sitting at a table, Deborah singing, waving goodbye to Ken & translator Naomi, and a picture of the 'Espiritu Crew': Heather, Deborah, and Diane (shown on right).
