Deborah Gibson played the title role in the touring production of Cinderella from November 28 2000 through March 4, 2001. Eartha Kitt plays the part of the Fairy Godmother. She rejoins the cast from July 24 through August 12, 2001.
Cinderella is a musical made by Rodgers and Hammerstein in the 50's, originally intended for television. The original starred Julie Andrews as Cinderella. The musical has been remade twice, the last time starring Brandy and Whitney Houston.
